QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years of experience in Networking and ATO Accreditation
- S. Citizenship required; must have Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- 8140 and Security + Certification
- Familiarity with U.S. DoD & U.S. Air Force procedures and the Air Force Information Network (AFIN).
- Hands-on experience in network engineering and firewall management
- Experience with DoD cloud environments (e.g., Impact Level 4/5 systems).
- Familiarity with additional compliance tools (e.g., Nessus, ACAS).
- Minimum of 8 or more years of experience in DoD cybersecurity, with a focus on the ATO process and RMF.
- Hands-on experience with STIG compliance, POA&M management, and eMASS administration.

Location: San Antonio, TXWhat will you be doing?The selected candidate is responsible for implementing and supporting security solutions for our customer. On a day-to-day basis, they configure and deploy Everfox/Forcepoint products, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the proper functioning of security systems. They collaborate with customers to understand their security needs, conduct system assessments, and provide technical guidance. Additionally, they perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and ensure that the security infrastructure is optimized to protect against evolving threats. They will also document processes, provide training, and assist with incident response as part of their role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Build, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network appliances.
- Conduct network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization to ensure high availability and optimal network performance.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate network requirements into scalable and efficient network designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers and support teams.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and technologies.
