Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design and Architecture- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for local and wide area networks, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies to optimize network performance while enhancing security measures.
- Design future-focused, high-performance network solutions to address evolving business requirements.
Implementation and Deployment- Lead the deployment of complex network systems with precision to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and integration of network hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Network Management and Maintenance- Monitor network performance, addressing any issues to ensure optimal reliability and uptime.
- Implement robust security protocols to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Regularly assess and update the network to align with the latest industry best practices and standards.
Documentation and Support- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure consistent knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical support to IT staff and end-users, acting as a mentor and expert resource.
- Organize training sessions to improve the technical knowledge of the IT team.
Collaboration and Leadership- Partner with IT management, business units, and stakeholders to understand networking requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Participate in strategic planning to drive the technological growth of the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Expertise in AWS, Azure, and Cloud Network Design.
- Proficiency in Network Architecture, Network Design, and Network Management.
- Hands-on experience with VMware and enterprise-level systems.
- Strong analytical and strategic-thinking abilities with the capacity to address both high-level architecture and intricate technical details.
Additional Insights:The role requires a balance of vision and execution. The Network Architect will dedicate about 75% of their efforts to future-oriented design, reengineering, enterprise-level alignment, and architecture strategy. The remaining 25% will involve troubleshooting and in-depth technical analysis.
