Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of experience in telecom/voice engineering.
• 5+ years in senior engineering or telecom team leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in SIP, RTP, PRI/ISDN, PSTN, DID, SS7, and enterprise voice technologies.
• Experience managing SBC platforms like AudioCodes, Ribbon, Cisco, or Avaya.
• Familiarity with voice gateways and UC platforms such as CUCM, Avaya, or Microsoft Teams Direct Routing.
• Solid understanding of MPLS, SD-WAN, DIA, QoS, VPN, and VoIP networking fundamentals.
• Proficient in SIP trace analysis and voice quality troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Own uptime, performance, and service quality for telecom and UC platforms.
• Lead high-severity telecom incidents, including escalations and root cause analysis.
• Provide oversight for SIP trunks, SBC platforms, and MPLS networks.
• Manage enterprise dial plans, number management, and routing strategies.
• Govern telecom vendors and manage contract negotiations and SLA performance.
• Lead telecom change management and collaboration across platforms.
• Ensure compliance with telecom regulations and security measures.
