In this role, this individual will be a multi-discipline IT professional with a primary focus on network administration in datacenter and multi-platform environments. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support secure, resilient network infrastructures across
on-premises, virtualized, and cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and support network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity components.
- Configure and maintain network connectivity across on-premises, data center, and cloud environments.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying issues and implementing corrective or preventative measures.
- Support network operations, including upgrades, patching, and performance optimization activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support network design, integration, and secure connectivity across systems.
Required Qualifications:- Required Experience/Skills:
- 10+ years of professional IT experience.
- JNCIS or equivalent professional networking certification; JNCIP preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls in on-premises, virtualized, and cloud network environments.
- Experience supporting and securing edge/IoT network devices and enterprise networks.
- Experience with datacenter cross-connects and interconnects (e.g., carrier meets, cloud on-ramps, data-center peering).
- Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Mist and/or Meraki networking solutions.
- Experience with cellular private networks.
- Experience designing or supporting Azure cloud networking solutions.
- Experience with hyperconverged networking.
- Experience with Azure Local deployments.
- Storage administration experience, including tape-based storage.
- Experience with identity management (e.g., directory services, authentication/authorization integration).
- Experience participating in or supporting incident response activities.
Salary and Benefit Information:The likely salary range for this position is $93,580 - $135,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
