As the Negotiation Support Group Manager, you lead a global team of engineering specialists supporting complex sales opportunities across multiple regions. Your day involves collaborating with sales, engineering, and service leaders, guiding technical negotiations, reviewing customer requirements, and providing strategic direction for high-value business opportunities. You balance team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement activities while acting as a key escalation point for critical customer discussions. Working closely with executive leadership, you help align technical solutions with business objectives and support the continuous development of both people and processes.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Strategic leadership, development, and performance management of a global engineering team providing negotiation support for complex sales opportunities
  • Definition and execution of the Negotiation Support Group strategy aligned with Engineering Support and Gas Services business objectives
  • Oversight of technical analyses, customer requirement evaluations, and solution feasibility assessments to support profitable and compliant proposals
  • Leadership of technical sales and contract negotiation activities, including preparation of executive-level customer presentations and resolution of critical technical issues
  • Management of budgets, resource allocation, operational performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Development of standardized tools, methodologies, risk mitigation approaches, and cross-functional collaboration processes to enhance sales support effectiveness

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • 10 + years of professional experience within a technical engineering environment, ideally in the energy or power generation industry, including significant senior leadership experience managing global or multi-regional teams
  • Proven expertise in technical sales support, product integration, contract negotiations, and management of complex high-value business opportunities
  • Strong leadership capabilities including strategic planning, stakeholder management, financial management, resource planning, and team development
  • Deep technical understanding of engineering solutions, product integration, gas turbine technology, technical analysis, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, business process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and customers alike
