Job DescriptionJob Title: NDT/NDE EngineerWorking Pattern: FulltimeWorking location: Indianapolis, IN The NDT Engineer will develop, define, and control, NDT processes and procedures. The position may support internal production, development, suppliers, or customers.
What you will be doingWith this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Performs NDT Engineering activities including technique development and approval for internal operations and Rolls-Royce suppliers
- Performs NDT activities associated with SABRe requirements related to supplier approval and control.
- Provides technical leadership, training, and guidance for Level II NDT inspectors.
- Interfaces with manufacturing supervision, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, to ensure complete and timely solutions.
- Develops new NDT processes, transitions emerging technologies into production, and ensures continuous improvement through effective lessons learned, knowledge capture, and process development.
- Will be expected to be capable of achieving LIII certification in at least two NDT methods

Basic Requirements:- Associate's degree in an engineering or science field with 3+ years of NDE experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science field with 1+ years of NDE experience, OR
- High School Degree with NDT Level II Certification (at least two methods)
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:- Experience in NDE on Aerospace hardware
- Experience in Computed Tomography, Infrared Thermography, or Eddy Current
- Previous NDE Certification per NAS410
- Desire to successfully lead in a team environment, establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis and other problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge of RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
