Position Description:We are looking for a Natural Gas Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Pittsburgh office. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and 5-10 years of similar work experience. Professional Engineer License is preferred. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.
Typical responsibilities include:- Experience with the design and construction of natural gas pipelines
- Monitor task budget and progress
- Work with and mentor junior design team
- Prepare computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings
- Generate bill of materials
- Ability to work independently
- Create estimated time requirements for projects
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors
- Conduct on-site field walks as needed
- Prepare project status and other reports
- Assist with the preparation of proposals
- Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
- Attend seminars and/or training classes
- Grow and maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
Education:- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
Skills/Experience:- 5-10 years of experience required
- Professional Engineer License preferred
