Overview

This MINNEAPOLIS, MN field-based role serves as the primary sales leader supporting the Reynolds Consumer Products line of business.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic National Account Manager - Targetto join our Mass Channel Sales team. This role is responsible for customer relationships with Target, executing growth strategies, and delivering revenue, profit, and market share objectives across assigned categories. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and commercial acumen with exceptional relationship-building skills, strong negotiation and influence and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Account Strategy & Business Development

  • Lead the development and execution of customer growth strategies that deliver revenue, market share, profitability, and long-term business objectives.
  • Influence strategy, accelerate growth, and strengthen collaborative business planning through organizational priorities and retailer strategies.
  • Shape category and commercial direction by leveraging consumer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and innovation pipelines to drive assortment optimization, distribution expansion, and sustainable category growth.
  • Own total business performance and strategic planning, across forecasting, promotional investment, pricing strategy, inventory management, and performance analytics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and achieve financial commitments.

Omni-Channel Excellence

  • Drive Targets omnichannel strategy by leveraging RCP digital and eCommerce teams to improve online execution, content quality, conversion, and digital shelf performance.
  • Monitor key digital metrics and recommend actions to accelerate online growth.

Analytics & Data-Driven Selling

  • Analyze POS, syndicated, and customer-specific data to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling business stories and actionable recommendations for both internal and customer audiences.

Innovation

  • Partner with Marketing, Innovation, and Business Units to identify and commercialize new product opportunities aligned with Targets strategic priorities.
  • Lead new item launches by coordinating timelines, customer sell-in materials, product setup, packaging requirements, and launch execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Finance, Marketing, Category Leadership, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Participate in customer issue resolution, inventory management, and operational excellence initiatives
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning across the organization.
Qualifications Education/Experience

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field,
  • 8+ years of relatedprofessional and progressive experience in sales in the CPG industry, preferably with large accounts.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and the ability tooperatea motor vehicle.

Preferred

  • Masters degree or other advanced degree a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • In depth background in multiple channels including food, drug, mass valuestoresand club. Broker management experience a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving and negotiation.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate businessobjectivesinto tactical actions and make sound business decisions under time pressure.
