SummaryThe Chobani National Account Manager will lead and develop Chobani's foodservice national account business. As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling portfolios in the Foodservice channel. This includes targeting and selling to National QSR's, Fast Casual, Casual and Fine Dining establishments. You will report to the Senior National Account Manager and will be a key member of the Foodservice Sales Team.
This role is responsible for the strategic leadership directing product compliance, sales team execution and exceptional business management skills, P&L management, and return on investment for the Foodservice Sales Team. Through joint planning, this role will project sales, drive volume, and establish in-field execution to exceed our Foodservice customers' expectations and represent the Chobani brand as nothing but good.
Responsibilities- Responsible for managing and performing sales direct to national foodservice chain operators
- Focus on a targeted list of the top 100 national chains and new concepts while maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
- Generate new business leads and build pipeline of new business to drive sales
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the national foodservice segment
- Create Annual Operating Plan (AOP), measured by growth of Key Performance Indicators and effectively running trade systems and dollars
- Develop, plan, and implement strategic selling plans, qualify customer targets, achieve sales objectives including volume, profit, and expense
- Provide integrated customer, consumer, and competitor insights to the leadership team for customer strategy development, portfolio management and business plans
- Regularly perform menu and operations analysis to quality and establish key areas of opportunity with present and new target accounts
- Partner with the Demand team functions in ensuring excellence in execution of all brand-related activities
- Use strong communication with all collaborators regarding customer, channel, industry insights and competitive trends
- Lead initiatives for new product development and coordinate national rollouts of new products
- Coordinate on-site facility visitations for customers, and effectively present product capabilities
- Improve communication and develop process improvements to drive increased sales
- Complete other tasks as needed
Requirements- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years consumer packaged goods experience including Foodservice regional, corporate, or national account and/or Category Management
- High level of proficiency in working directly with Senior Level Management within a client's headquarters
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring a large, dedicated team
- Strong cross-functional exposure / experience
- Highly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
- Highly organized, can balance multiple projects at once
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
- Willingness to travel 30-50%
The salary range for this full-time position is $95,000.00 - $150,700.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
