Full Job Description
Job Description/Responsibilities

Join our Product Development team and play a key role in shaping the future of our aged spirits portfolio. As an Aged Spirits Blender, you will support the development, optimization, and commercialization of new and existing products through blending execution, sensory evaluation, and technical problem solving. Working closely with Distillery, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Brand teams, you'll help ensure products consistently meet quality, regulatory, and consumer expectations while supporting innovation and operational excellence.

 

What You'll Do

  • Develop, prepare, and evaluate aged spirits blends to support product development, commercialization, and brand quality objectives.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and blend standardization activities to maintain product consistency and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Distillery, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to optimize aged spirits inventory utilization while supporting commercialization and production needs.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and investigations related to blend variability, maturation performance, quality concerns, and supply chain deviations.
  • Maintain accurate blend documentation, formulations, and records while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in distilled spirits, beverage alcohol, food, or related consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Strong sensory aptitude with the ability to distinguish subtle flavor and aroma differences in aged spirits.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting blending activities, sensory evaluation programs, or production operations.
  • Experience supporting new product commercialization and production scale-up activities.
  • Experience with aged spirits distillation, blending, maturation programs, and collaboration across distillery and operations teams.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to distinguish flavors and aromas through taste and smell.

The annual salary range for this role is $93,999.84 - $140,999.76. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
