Job DescriptionData Platform Account Executive - Manufacturing & Transportation What You'll Do- Develop and execute strategic account plans across Manufacturing & Transportation enterprise accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with executive decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, Chief Digital Officers, Supply Chain executives, Operations leaders, and Line of Business stakeholders.
- Drive sales of Oracle's Data Platform portfolio, including Database, Autonomous Database, Analytics, AI, Data Integration, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Lead executive conversations around data modernization, AI adoption, analytics transformation, operational excellence, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
- Position Oracle as a trusted advisor for multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies spanning AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Generate, develop, and close complex enterprise opportunities while maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecast.
- Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AI, Applications, Industry, Consulting, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering teams to deliver business outcomes for customers.
- Prospect into assigned accounts to identify new opportunities and expand Oracle's footprint across the enterprise.
- Lead sophisticated enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, technical teams, procurement organizations, and executive sponsors.
- Travel as required to support customer engagements and business objectives.

What We're Looking For- 8+ years of successful enterprise technology sales experience.
- Experience selling Data Platform, Database, Analytics, AI, Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, PaaS, or related enterprise technology solutions.
- Experience selling into Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace & Defense, Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain organizations preferred.
- Demonstrated success selling to executive decision-makers and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and closing strategic enterprise opportunities.
- Understanding of modern data architectures, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud strategies involving OCI, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong prospecting, territory planning, account management, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver customer success.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
