Role Overview:The MySQL Database Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining MySQL environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires strong hands-on experience with MySQL databases and proficiency in Linux administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database environments, including installation and ongoing maintenance.
- Handle schema management, configuration, indexing, and general database maintenance tasks.
- Perform performance tuning and manage critical backup and recovery processes.
Required Skills:- Strong hands-on experience with MySQL databases.
- Proficiency in Linux administration for troubleshooting and server management.
- Familiarity with MySQL internals and storage engines.
- Unix Administration.
- Java EE Performance Optimization & Tuning.
Qualifications:- 6-8 Years of experience.
- Candidates must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with AWS cloud services (Amazon Web Service Cloud Computing).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana or CloudWatch.
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
- Understanding containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
