We are looking for a
Murex Business Analyst that will focus on driving the reviewing and analyzing business processes and user rights within the Murex platform. Responsibilities include documenting the current state, identifying gaps, proposing standards and supporting the implementation of best practices. This role will work closely with stakeholders to ensure processes and access controls are efficient, compliant and aligned with organizational objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, document, and evaluate current business processes and workflows within the Murex platform
- Capture detailed requirements and ensure traceability across all phases of the project lifecycle
- Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority to gather and validate requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear, functional specifications
- Liaise with testing teams to oversee the testing lifecycle, including defect management and resolution
- Support the implementation and rollout of process improvements and system configurations
- Provide expertise in Murex modules, focusing on functionalities for Back Office (Accounting, Payments, Workflow, Clearing), Front Office (Equities, Commodities, Fixed Income, Credit, FXMM, FX Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives), or Risk (Market Risk, VaR, PnL, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk)
- Ensure alignment of processes and controls with regulatory requirements and organizational best practices
- Assist in managing cross-asset classes and facilitating integration between different system components
- Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving issues within Murex modules
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience working with Murex
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Business Analyst within IT/Finance
- Demonstrable experience working across the full project lifecycle
- Demonstrable experience in documenting analysis outputs
- Strong ability to capture detailed requirements and maintain traceability throughout all phases of a project
- Experience in translating business requirements into functional requirements
- Experience running workshops and engaging with stakeholders at different levels of seniority
- Ability to liaise with the testing team and manage the testing lifecycle, including defect management
- Cross-asset experience
- Murex experience across either Back Office (Accounting, Payments, Workflow, Clearing), Front Office (Equities, Commodities, Fixed Income, Credit, FXMM, FX Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives), or Risk (Market Risk, VaR, PnL, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk), or Regulations
