Full Job Description
a specialized construction consulting and project management firm focused on large-scale residential community renovations, is seeking a Superintendent to join their team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing complex exterior renovation and restoration projects for HOA communities, with the opportunity to grow into a Construction Manager position over time.

What You'll Do as the Superintendent:
  • Lead daily field operations for large-scale residential renovation and reconstruction projects
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
  • Monitor project schedules, quality, safety, and budget performance
  • Conduct site walks, identify issues, and proactively resolve construction challenges
  • Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure successful execution
  • Serve as the primary on-site representative throughout the construction lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with Construction Managers, consultants, and client representatives
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and field communications
  • Assist with contractor coordination, bid reviews, and scope clarification
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

Must-Haves as the Superintendent:
  • 5+ years of superintendent, construction management, or field leadership experience
  • General contractor background with strong understanding of residential construction
  • Experience managing renovation, restoration, remodeling, or rebuilding projects
  • Knowledge of building envelope systems including roofing, siding, decks, waterproofing, and exterior structures
  • Working understanding of plumbing, electrical, structural, and civil construction components
  • Ability to identify and solve field issues independently
  • Comfortable working on active job sites and climbing ladders when necessary
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Bay Area
