Multifamily Project Manager to lead podium-style, wood-frame construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Position Overview:As a Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of multifamily construction projects, with a focus on
podium construction (e.g., 4-over-1, 5-over-2 configurations) and
Type III/V wood-frame structures. You'll manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead ground-up multifamily projects, including podium and wood-frame builds.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with IBC Section 510.2 and fire-resistance requirements for podium structures.
- Oversee site logistics, safety plans, and quality control.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining our standards of excellence.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience managing multifamily construction projects.
- Proven experience with podium construction and wood-frame structures (Type III-A, V-A).
- Strong understanding of building codes, especially related to fire-rated assemblies and FRT wood.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
