Position Overview:Are you an analytical, curious, self-motivated professional with a passion for multifamily real estate? If so, Freddie Mac might be the employer for you! We are looking for a Multifamily Asset Management Senior to join the Structured Transactions group. This group falls within Special Servicing and handles asset management related functions for our (i) Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investments and (ii) most complex portfolio and securitized assets, including bond transactions and revolving lines of credit. These transactions represent a significant commitment to some of Freddie Mac's most meaningful corporate affordability objectives.
The successful talent will analyze, process, and manage a variety of consent requests, complete underwriting analysis, and work with legal counsel as appropriate. In addition, you will exercise delegated approval authority for certain credit decisions on regular requests and recommend to management for circumstances that exceed their respective levels of authority.

- We seek to timely fulfill our commitments and asset management functions on LIHTC investments and maintain high credit quality on requests for existing loans and structured deals
Your Impact:You will bring LIHTC asset management experience and you will:
- Manage a team and exercise delegated approval authority for LIHTC functions such as investment oversight, capital calls, and transactions. Secondarily, you will assist with transactions on our complex debt products.
- Collaborate with the Structured Transaction Director and manage initiatives for the team
- Oversee internal tracking and reporting on investments
- Continue to develop procedures, processes and applications such as MRI
Qualifications:- Typically has 5 to 7 years of related LIHTC experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- Ability to efficiently manage large volumes of requests with measurable deadlines
- Maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Strong underwriting/credit experience/management experience with LIHTC investments

- Proactive oversight and development of processes, procedures and tracking systems while timing fulfilling all commitments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; with strong interpersonal and customer service skills

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
