Multi-Site General Manager - Location: Edmonton - Reports to: District Manager, Canada West
The Multi-Site General Manager is a senior operational leader responsible for the overall performance, compliance, and client satisfaction of a diverse portfolio of Aramark accounts across Edmonton & Northern Alberta. This role provides hands-on leadership across healthcare sites. The Multi Site GM ensures consistent execution of Aramark programs and processes, strong financial performance, and high-quality service delivery, while developing site leaders and acting as a key partner to both clients and district leadership.

Job Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Provide senior leadership and oversight across all assigned locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent service delivery
• Set clear expectations for operational standards while supporting site teams with hands-on leadership and coaching
• Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and service consistency
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with union representatives while ensuring consistent application of labour agreements, company policies, and operational expectations.
Aramark Programs & Process Compliance
• Ensure full adherence to all Aramark programs, policies, and operating standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation programs, health and safety requirements, purchasing standards, and brand standards
• Hold site leaders accountable for accurate execution of Aramark systems, reporting, and controls
• Identify gaps in compliance or execution and implement corrective action plans as required
Client Partnership & Retention
• Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, building trust through responsiveness, consistency, and results
• Support and lead CBRs, QBRs, audits, and renewal discussions
• Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and service enhancements to strengthen client relationships and retention
Financial Accountability
• Own financial performance across the portfolio, including revenue growth, labour management, food cost control, and contribution targets
• Review and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports and ensure timely corrective actions
• Partner with Finance and site leaders to ensure disciplined financial execution and sustainable results
People Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site management team, building bench strength and succession plans
• Ensure consistent performance management, engagement, and accountability across all locations
• Support talent development and internal promotion through structured coaching and feedback
Safety & Risk Management
• Champion a safety-first culture across all sites
• Ensure compliance with all client, provincial, and Aramark safety standards and reporting requirements
• Address incidents, risks, and audit findings promptly and effectively
District Support
• Act as a delegate for the District Manager when required
• Support mobilizations, renovations, and operational transitions
• Contribute to district initiatives related to growth, compliance, people development, and operational excellence
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Five or more years of senior management experience in food service, hospitality, or multi-site operations
• Proven experience managing multiple locations/services and leading large, diverse teams.
• Proven experience working within unionized environments, including interpretation and administration of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), grievance management, and partnership with union representatives to support positive labour relations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and complex operating environments
• Demonstrated ability to enforce standards while maintaining positive, productive relationships
• Advanced food safety certification or ability to obtain
• Strong computer literacy including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally and seasonally

Education
The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00.
