Full Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:

As a cornerstone of the BIOVIA Contract Research Program, you will bridge the gap between complex scientific theory and industrial reality. Your mission is to architect and deliver high-impact MultiSci™ VTaaS and Outcome-Based Engagement (OBE) frameworks. You won't just solve problems; you will define and deliver the "Virtual Twin" and "Virtual Twin Experience" standards that allow our global customers to overcome their most business-critical scientific hurdles.

The Role: Execute and Deliver

We are looking for a rare blend of scientific depth and commercial acumen. This is a high-visibility role where you own the lifecycle of a scientific engagement- from the first technical deep-dive to the final delivery of a transformative digital asset.
  1. Strategic Solution Scoping
    • Deep Discovery: Partner with customers to deconstruct complex R&D challenges. You will research their specific pain points to identify the underlying chemistry, physics, and material science.
    • Value Engineering: Translate vague scientific needs into concrete KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KVIs (Key Value Indicators). You define what success looks like and ensure it is both achievable and high-value.
    • Proposing Excellence: Craft sophisticated scientific proposals that outline the roadmap, timeline, and technical feasibility of the Virtual Twin and Virtual Twin Experience.
  2. Technical Execution & Innovation
    • Platform Mastery: Architect and deploy the Virtual Twin Experience on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You will build the environment where customers run their simulations and gain insights.
    • Workflow Engineering: Develop custom scientific workflows and reusable assets. You aren't just solving a one-off problem; you are building a scalable library of scientific capabilities.
    • Hands-on Delivery: You own the technical outcome. You will see the project through the lifetime of Deliver and Improve stages, ensuring benchmarks are met on time and with scientific rigor, guaranteeing renewal or repeat business.
  3. Customer Enablement & Growth
    • Knowledge Transfer: Conduct high-level enablement sessions (on-site or remote) to ensure the customer can maximize the utility of the Virtual Twin and the Virtual Twin Experiences.
    • Stakeholder Management: Act as the scientific voice of the project, providing regular, data-driven updates to executive-level customer stakeholders.
    • Business Continuity: By delivering undeniable value, you will own the scientific strategy for follow-on renewals and expanded OBE phases and/or VTaaS subscriptions.

Qualifications
  • Academic Pedigree: A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering is mandatory. Your academic background should demonstrate a deep mastery of molecular or meso-level modeling and machine learning modeling.
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral research or equivalent Industrial R&D experience. We are looking for a track record of applying advanced scientific principles to complex, non-trivial problems.
  • Multidisciplinary Expertise: You possess a deep, "polymath-style" understanding of the scientific drivers in at least three of the following sectors: Life Sciences, CPG-R, High Tech, Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, or Chemicals.
  • Technical Stack: Proficiency in multiscale modeling and simulation. Experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform or similar enterprise-grade Simulation environments is highly preferred.
  • Communication: The ability to explain complex atomistic or mechanical concepts to both a PhD-level researcher and a C-suite executive.
