What You Will Do:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support delivery of a federally funded multi‑cloud data platform program. This position is a hybrid full‑time role located in Bethesda, MD.

  • Manage day‑to‑day execution of project activities in support of the overall program objectives

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, plans, and management artifacts, ensuring alignment with the approved Project Management Plan  

  • Coordinate task execution across technical teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of contract deliverables

  • Support and participate in regularly scheduled and ad‑hoc meetings, including preparation of agendas, meeting materials, and status updates  

  • Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns as needed to program leadership

  • Contribute to weekly and monthly performance reporting, including schedule, milestones, and task status updates

  • Support transition‑in, operational activities, and transition‑out efforts in coordination with the Program Manager and Government stakeholders

  • Ensure project execution aligns with applicable federal policies, security requirements, and contractual obligations


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • A minimum of two (2) years of Project Manager experience supporting IT or technology‑focused projects

  • Current PMP certification or equivalent project management credential

  • Demonstrated experience managing schedules, deliverables, and cross‑functional teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

  • Ability to operate effectively in a federal or highly regulated environment

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting federal IT programs or data platform initiatives

  • Familiarity with multi‑cloud environments, security, or ATO‑related efforts

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
