BT-374 - Multi-Cloud EngineerLocation: Chantilly, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)
**Please do NOT apply if you do not have an active Poly clearance. Those without a Poly will not be considered.**Provide technical support to all of the clients' broadcast systems as a cloud engineer with programming responsibilities.
Mandatory Skills- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cloud-based networks with very high data security requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with AWS and cloud services to include API configurations.
- Demonstrated experience with programming languages including Python, Linux, C++, and Windows shell.
- Demonstrated experience with operating systems such as Linux and Android.
- Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python, C++, and Perl.
- Demonstrated experience with System Administration such as Linux RHEL, patching, server installs, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware/patch levels.
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering such as familiarity with medialive, automating dynamo table updates, troubleshooting within the cloud platform, and providing input on troubleshooting toolsets.
Optional Skills- Demonstrated experience with analog and digital communications with Satellite, terrestrial TV, AM, and FM radio.
- Demonstrated experience with video codecs and streaming technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with video encoding equipment and processes.
- Demonstrated experience with specific broadcast systems such as a specialized FM radio system and the client's TV and radio signal devices such as scalable portable remote devices.
- Demonstrated experience with IP network routing and switching.
- Demonstrated experience performing installations, configuration, and operations of broadcast equipment.
