What You Will Do:
We are looking for an experienced Contract Lead to oversee contract execution and ensure compliance with federal IT, security, and acquisition requirements for a multi‑cloud data platform program. This position is a hybrid full‑time role located in Bethesda, MD.

  • Serve as the primary lead for contract execution, ensuring compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements

  • Provide oversight and guidance on federal IT and security policies, procedures, standards, and methodologies

  • Coordinate with program leadership to ensure contract activities align with scope, performance requirements, and Government direction

  • Support contract administration activities, including coordination with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative as required

  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance for compliance with contract terms and applicable federal standards

  • Provide leadership and subject‑matter expertise related to security, compliance, and risk management throughout the contract lifecycle

  • Contribute to program reporting, reviews, and audits related to contractual and compliance obligations

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience on Federal IT projects, including at least two (2) years leading tasks of similar size and scope

  • Deep knowledge of federal IT and security policies, procedures, standards, and methodologies

  • Strong technical background in technologies, network devices, hardware, and software

  • Professional certification commensurate with duties, such as ISC2, CISSP, CC, ISACA, or SANS Institute certification

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for federal stakeholders and leadership audiences

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or other federal health‑related IT environments

  • Familiarity with ATO, continuous monitoring, or Zero Trust initiatives

  • Experience managing or supporting large, complex data or cloud‑based programs

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
