  • Contribute to architecture decisions that shape the Homepage Android experience and align with eBay's broader mobile platform strategy.
  • Drive complex projects across multiple turning points, proactively identifying risks and working multi-functionally to keep delivery on track.

What you will bring
  • 6+ years of professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin (and familiarity with Java).
  • Deep proficiency in Jetpack Compose and the Android View system, with a strong grasp of when and how to apply each effectively.
  • Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and modular app design at scale.
  • Strong networking skills, including experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs in a consumer Android context.
  • Excellent decision-making skills - able to navigate ambiguity, weigh trade-offs, and drive sound technical choices with good judgment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design.
  • Experience in mentoring peers and contributing positively to team culture and engineering practices.
