This position is open to all current Maintenance Supervisor I and Maintenance Supervisor IIs (Telephones)Job Summary:The incumbent will provide supervisory oversight to Level 1 Maintenance Supervisors within the EMD Command Center
Responsibility:The incumbent will provide supervisory oversight to Level 1 Maintenance Supervisors within the Command Center, along with performing Incident Desk Coordinators duties on the off tours. In addition, other duties include processing and distribution of incident, accident and other reports and updates as necessary. The selected candidate will be required to work off tour and operate from either of the EMD Command Centers located at the OCC or 130 Livingston Street as necessary or as directed by management.

Maintenance Supervisor (Telephones) II Salary Range:1st Year $112,448
2nd Year $114,057
3rd Year $118,067
Education and Experience:Five years of full-time satisfactory experience in the maintenance, installation and repair of telephone equipment or electrically operated alarm equipment; at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
Desired Skills:- Knowledge of EAM
- Broad knowledge of maintenance and repair of telephone equipment, test tools/equipment and procedures
- Knowledge of fiber optic and PBX networks.
- Knowledge of NYCT Rules and Regulations
- Knowledge of TWU and SSSA Union Contracts
- Knowledge of Operations and Safety Practices and Procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in utilizing a desktop PC and Microsoft Office Suite
