Full Job Description

The MRO Program Manager will lead the design, implementation, and long-term sustainability of the Sylmar site's Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) program—building this critical capability from the ground up. As the central owner of MRO systems, data governance, and process transformation, you will define and govern how the site manages spare parts, inventory, storeroom operations, and vendor partnerships. You will oversee Bills of Materials (BOMs), preventive maintenance (PM) kitting, training coordination, EHS compliance support, and material readiness. Serving as the site's MRO governance lead within the Brightly CMMS environment, the MRO Program Manager is necessary to the success of Project Renaissance. This onsite role will sit at our Sylmar, CA site and will report to the Asset Care Maintenance Reliability Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee and govern the Brightly CMMS environment, including parts master data, system configuration, workflows, inventory accuracy, and KPI reporting

  • Lead inventory and storeroom operations, including stocking strategy, cycle counts, reconciliation, 5S organization, and new storeroom setup programs

  • Develop Bills of Material (BOMs) and standardize PM kitting processes to ensure material readiness and minimize downtime

  • Establish repairable parts and lifecycle management processes, including tracking, warranty oversight, and critical spares strategy

  • Manage MRO vendor relationships, purchasing coordination, inventory costs, and performance metrics to guide efficiency and reduce emergency orders

  • Oversee training governance, CMMS adoption, and workforce development, ensuring compliance with certification, LOTO, and onboarding requirements

  • Support EHS, audit readiness, and reliability efforts by ensuring compliance tracking, documentation control, material traceability, and data-driven continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in maintenance operations, EHS systems, engineering, supply chain, or enterprise systems administration

  • CMMS or enterprise system administration experience with demonstrated data governance expertise

  • Experience managing large datasets, master data, and structured data governance

  • Experience writing complex macros for Excel

  • Audit experience and compliance documentation capability

  • Experience with Brightly, Maximo, SAP PM, or similar CMMS platforms is adventagous

  • Inventory control, storeroom management, or MRO program experience

The base salary range for this position is $118,000 to $128,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 10% of base salary.
