Qualifications

• Associate Degree required
• Current state license in good standing
• CPR certification required
• Minimum of one year of continuous MRI experience
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient care and safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain and adjust imaging equipment for optimal performance
• Calibrate MRI consoles and peripheral hardware effectively
• Operate injectors proficiently during imaging procedures
• Ensure patient safety by applying aseptic techniques and proper pre-screening
• Address and alleviate patient concerns throughout the procedure
• Flush IV lines post-contrast injection accurately
• Follow physician orders meticulously for imaging protocols
• Prepare patients by reviewing medical histories and answering questions
• Shield patient exposure during imaging to enhance safety
• Attach physiological monitoring leads as required
• Provide headphones for patient comfort during scans
• Accurately maintain patient medical records during shifts
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
