Qualifications

  • 1+ years of MRI experience
  • Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program or MRI school
  • Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARMRIT or CAMRT
  • Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Experience with cardiac and pediatric MRI is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Interview and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to identify safety concerns
  • Perform MRI procedures following the protocols established by Radiologists
  • Begin MRI studies and ensure images are accurately transferred and documented
  • Complete studies in EPIC / EMR and PACS system
  • Maintain patient history and ensure all documentation is thorough and compliant

Full Job Description
Short DescriptionAn MRI Technologist interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety Concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in EPIC / EMR and PACS system Experience Required

1+ years MRI experience; 

Cardiac and Pediatric experience preferred, but not necessary

Education Requirements

License/Certification Requirements
