Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility to ensure patient safety.

  • Prepare and comfort patients before scans, explaining processes effectively.
  • Insert IVs when required for procedures.
  • Document all imaging procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Perform patient care tasks as needed during imaging procedures.

This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Job Summary
  • Seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team
  • Must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus
  • Must be able to operate the MRI machine efficiently
  • Must be able to make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure
  • Must coordinate with the patient's physician to ensure results are received in a timely manner
  • Must be familiar with medical terminology
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods

  • Certification through the ARRT
  • Injection certification - MUST HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED
  • NYS Rad Tech license - must be willing to obtain after starting
