- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Shift Length: 5x8.0
- Holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs
- Assignment Length: 17 Weeks
Position Overview
- We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team
- Must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus
- Must be familiar with medical terminology
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test
- Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
- Patient care tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience
- BLS certification - American Heart Association ONLY
- GE Scanner experience - MUST HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience
- Certification through the ARRT
- Injection Certification - MUST HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED
- NY License ONLY - must be willing to obtain NYS Rad Tech license after starting

- Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred/highly desired)
