MRI TechnologistShift Details
- 5x8.0 shift schedule
- Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
- Holidays required

Position Overview
- Seeking an MRI Technologist to join a healthcare team
- Must hold an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus
- Must be able to operate the MRI machine efficiently
- Must be able to make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure
- Must coordinate with the patient's physician to ensure results are received in a timely manner
- Must be familiar with medical terminology
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test
- Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
- Patient care tasks as needed
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience required
- BLS certification - American Heart Association ONLY
- GE Scanner experience - MUST HAVE GE SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience
- Certification through the ARRT
- Injection certification - MUST HAVE INJECTION CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED
- NYS Rad Tech license - must be willing to obtain after starting
