  • 5x8.0 shift schedule
  • Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
  • Holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs
Position Overview
  • Seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team
  • Must hold an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus
  • Ideal candidate can operate MRI equipment efficiently, make patients feel comfortable before and during scanning procedures, and coordinate with physicians to ensure timely delivery of results
  • Must be familiar with medical terminology and able to stand for extended periods
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
  • Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
  • Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
  • Insert IVs when necessary for the test
  • Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
  • Perform patient care tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of experience
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • GE Scanner experience - MUST HAVE GE SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience
  • Certification through the ARRT
  • Injection certification - MUST HAVE INJECTION CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED
  • NYS Rad Tech license - must be willing to obtain after starting
