New Hire Incentive available up to $4,000 for those who qualify.
This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with 8-hour varied day shifts. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation, including a 7-day backup call every 7 weeks.
This position is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with the potential to float to AMP.
The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
• Internal candidates
• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
• New Graduates (must have at least 1 year of MRI Tech experience)
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
• Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
• Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of MRI experience
• Cardiac and Breast experience
• Experience with Siemens scanners
