TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH The MRB Liaison Engineer - Systems supports aircraft production by resolving system-related non-conformances and providing engineering dispositions that ensure continued compliance with safety, quality, and certification requirements. This position interfaces with production personnel and multiple engineering disciplines to facilitate timely issue resolution.
- Provide technical support for aircraft system installation and production-related non-conformances.
- Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and develop engineering dispositions for mechanical and system installation issues.
- Conduct on-aircraft investigations to collect information and assess discrepancies affecting system integration.
- Analyze deviations related to system routing, installation, interfaces, and associated hardware.
- Ensure proposed solutions comply with engineering standards, certification requirements, and safety objectives.
- Work closely with structures, stress, design, materials and processes, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and MRB records.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce recurring issues.
- Apply AS9100 quality standards and internal engineering procedures in daily activities.
RequirementsYOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESSQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, MRB engineering, or aircraft systems installation support.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems installation requirements and production engineering practices.
- Experience developing engineering dispositions for non-conformances in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with MRB software and engineering change documentation.
