MRB Design Engineer VLocation: Tulsa, OK On-site (Office-Based Role)

Pay Rate: $81.00/hour
🎯 Retention Bonus: $5,000 after 12 months

Expleo is seeking a consultant-level MRB Design Engineer (Level 5) to provide top-tier technical leadership across aerospace programs.

This role is suited for a recognized industry expert who thrives on solving highly complex, unprecedented engineering challenges and influencing organizational strategy, compliance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead resolution of critical and highly complex MRB issues
  • Develop advanced repair methodologies and engineering standards

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (ABET preferred)
  • 14+ years aerospace/MRB experience (commercial or military)
  • Engineering degree must be ABET-accredited and recognized under the Washington Accord
  • Previously held MRB signing authority or delegated technical approval within the past 3-5 years (preferred)
  • Experience supporting Boeing commercial aircraft programs, particularly 737 and/or 787, or similar aircraft platforms
  • Strong understanding of metallic and composite structures
  • Solid knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and their impact on aircraft performance
  • Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Working knowledge of SAP NCMS or similar nonconformance management systems
  • Familiarity with CATIA V5 for drawing/model interrogation (preferred)
  • Prior DOA experience, concessions training, TIPQA, or equivalent exposure is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
  • Three thousand dollars retention sign-on bonus after 90 days of successful employment
  • Additional relocation bonus for out of state candidates
  • Competitive hourly rate ($81).Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
