Role RoadmapWe're looking for a Motion Designer to own motion across both our brand and product. On the brand side that means campaigns, social, launches, and ads. On the product side it means UI animation, micro-interactions, onboarding flows, and the motion design system that keeps everything consistent.
You'll work closely with design, product, and marketing and have end-to-end ownership over how Kalshi uses motion, from concept through engineering handoff.
What You'll Do- Design and produce motion content for Kalshi's brand: social, campaigns, product launches, ads, and anything else that needs to move
- Own in-app animation and interaction design: micro-interactions, onboarding flows, loading states, transitions, and UI motion that makes the product feel polished and intentional
- Build and export production-ready animations for engineering using Lottie and other handoff formats
- Develop and maintain Kalshi's motion language, creating a system of timing, easing, and animation principles that keep everything consistent across brand and product
- Collaborate with product designers and engineers to ensure motion is implemented accurately and performantly
- Concept and execute motion work independently from brief to final delivery
What You Bring- A portfolio that shows range, ideally including both brand motion and product/UI animation
- Strong design sensibility across timing, easing, typography, and composition
- Ability to work across two very different contexts (expressive brand work and functional product motion) without conflating the two
- Comfortable owning work end-to-end with minimal direction
- Experience collaborating with engineers on animation implementation
