MOLD REMEDIATION TEAM LEAD

About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Mold Remediation Team Lead who wants to take full ownership of high-value field projects, lead a skilled mitigation crew, and build a long-term career with a rapidly expanding company.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Execute Core Field Operations: Perform hands-on mold removal, moisture control, containment setups, water damage restoration, air duct cleaning, and light construction / residential carpentry (drywall repair and framing).
  • Lead and Mentors Crews: Serve as the on-site Technician Team Lead-supervising, training, and working alongside field technicians to maintain strict quality control and operational standards.
  • Client & B2B Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the firm professionally on high-end residential job sites, communicating project scope clearly to property owners and real estate stakeholders.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Strictly enforce field safety protocols, including mandatory respiratory protection, containment controls, and Tyvek suit compliance under state and local regulations.
  • Logistics & Asset Management: Oversee service vehicle care, coordinate equipment loading/unloading, maintain inventory, and direct proper hazardous/environmental waste disposal.
  • Digital Project Tracking: Utilize our mobile CRM software to capture real-time job photos, log site metrics, and complete daily production reports.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in mold remediation, mitigation, or water damage restoration.
  • Proven technical mastery in establishing critical containment zones and negative air controls.
  • Valid California Driver's License with a clean DMV driving record.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, perform overhead work, navigate tight crawl spaces/attics, and wear full PPE/respirators for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (excluding THC/cannabis).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior leadership experience as a crew lead, job-site foreman, or senior field technician.
  • Active IICRC certifications (specifically WRT - Water Damage Restoration Technician, or AMRT - Applied Microbial Remediation Technician).
  • 2+ years of residential construction, framing, or finish carpentry experience.
