About the RoleThe Mobile Support / Audit Response Lead leads jurisdiction engagements and audit-response activities in support of the ARNG G8 Risk Management and Internal Control (RMIC) program. This role coordinates preliminary review of external auditors' findings, prepares recommended response documentation, and facilitates on-site and remote liaison support to ARNG states, territories, and headquarters offices, carrying engagements through corrective-action follow-up.
What You'll Do- Lead mobile support and audit-response engagements for the ARNG Mobile Support Team in coordination with external auditors' findings.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of audit findings and prepare recommended documentation for the Government's final response.
- Facilitate ad hoc on-site and remote liaison support to the 54 states and territories and ARNG headquarters offices.
- Prepare complete engagement packages - agendas, preliminary finding reviews, and coordinated suggested response documentation - for Government review in advance of scheduled travel or engagement.
- Support the development, participation, and delivery of RMIC training and coordinate related stakeholder communications.
- Track corrective-action-plan status arising from mobile support engagements through resolution and closeout.
Required QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience- 8+ years of experience in DoD/Army risk management, internal controls, or audit-response support.
- Demonstrated experience with OMB Circular A-123 and internal-controls frameworks.
- Experience supporting corrective-action-plan development and stakeholder engagement in a federal environment.
Technical Skills- Working knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and the GAO Green Book.
- Strong Government-facing written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare audit-response packages and coordinate multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Certifications such as CGFM, CPA, CIA, or CISA are beneficial where relevant.
Soft Skills- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple concurrent engagements.
- Effective collaborator across contractor and Government teams.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive audit and compliance matters.
Status: Contingency - This position is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of a favorable background investigation and adjudication of the required SECRET security clearance prior to reporting to the worksite.
Salary: $95,000-$110,000
