Role OverviewThe Mobile Maintenance Supervisor manages the overall health of the haulage and support equipment fleets. They will also supervise a crew of tradespeople to execute maintenance in a safe, efficient and productive work environment. The Mobile Maintenance Supervisor will provide leadership that results in a safe work culture, is responsible and accountable for the safety of the crew under his/her direction and must understand and accept the importance and legal liability of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all activities related to maintenance (mechanical).
- Answers queries and handles requests related to maintenance (mechanical) which includes problem solving and judgment.
- Complies with established methodologies and quality standards related to maintenance (mechanical) while at the same time recommending new or alternate approaches.
- Prepares reports and completes documentation related to maintenance (mechanical).
- Maximizes equipment availability.
- Monitors, analyzes, and implements changes to ensure maintenance is preventative, predictive, and proactive.
- Monitors and reports on the achievement of targets and revises strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and supervise daily activities of on-site Contractors.
- Utilize Maintenance & Supply Chain Best Practices in conjunction with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for processing work orders, purchase requisitions, weekly schedules, PM's, and updating the equipment database.
- Provide assistance to Senior Supervisor/Superintendent in the hiring of maintenance employees.
- Provide employees with clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
- Complete all time entry, vacation requests and scheduling. (Keep "MANPOWER" file up to date and accurate).
- Provide leadership to the team.
- Promote and maintain a high-performance culture.
- Promote health & safety at work and conduct accident and incident investigations.
- Carry out workplace inspections using work cards.
- Analyze accidents and broken equipment to find solutions and avoid repeating the event.
- Prepare and animate monthly team meetings reinforcing HSS standards.
- Assist weekly planning meetings.
- Review all work-orders, confirm that all the required information has been added and that it is accurate before returning it to the planning department.
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Other duties as required.
What You Bring to the Table- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervisor and have good communication and leadership skills
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Journeyman/woman trade certification in a relevant trade is required.
- A combination of over 5-6 years of work experience in the Mechanical Department (mining equipment).
- Prompt daily attendance at assigned schedule.
- The ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required, including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment

Salary Range:CAD $98,600-$147,900
The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
