  • Ensure cost-effective execution of preventative maintenance activities.
  • Address breakdowns immediately as they occur.
  • Contribute to the development and update of maintenance systems and practices.

About The Role

Title: Mobile Maintenance Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off - 12 hour days

Position Reports To: Mobile Maintenance Supervisor

Role Summary

The role of the Preventative Maintenance Technician is to conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and make repairs as required on machinery, buildings and equipment throughout the mine site to maintain their efficient and safe operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow preventative and predictive maintenance programs through appropriate application of lubrication to mobile equipment and process plant.
  • Provide input into planning weekly and annual maintenance.
  • Monitor and service fluid levels on equipment and machinery.
  • Operate hydraulic tools, jacks, air tools and miscellaneous hand tools.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out in a cost-effective manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, buildings and machinery as required.
  • Ensure that all breakdowns are attended to immediately.
  • Provide input into the development and updating of preventative maintenance systems, spare parts programs, maintenance practices and infrastructure issues.
  • Other general maintenance activities to achieve high availability and productivity of mine equipment as well as mine buildings and infrastructure.
  • Ensure work order discipline within SAP.


Qualifications

  • Willingness to take on progressively more responsibilities as they grow and develop with the company.


The anticipated salary for this position will be between $80,000 to $85,000.
