About the RoleWorkday Mobile is used by millions of people around the globe every month. As an iOS Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and evolving the mobile experiences they rely on.
You'll work across the stack of our iOS codebase - from modern UI and design systems to networking and observability - helping us ship scalable features, improve the reliability and performance of the app, and influence our technical direction.
This role is a great fit if you enjoy leading by example, partnering closely with product and design, and mentoring other engineers while still being hands-on with code.
Responsibilities- Apply your Computer Science knowledge and programming skills while collaborating with a fun group of engineers
- Lead the development cycle through ownership of features and initiatives, from the conceptual stages all the way through to production
- Take ownership of the work you're doing, from active participation with partners, to prioritization and effort estimation, to writing well-tested code
- Bring others along with you, as you communicate decisions and challenges, mentor other developers, and consistently help us elevate our standard of excellence
- Help us see trends in maintenance issues, proposing wider-scope solutions to ensure we fix problematic spaces once and for all
- As a valued team member, you will bring ideas forward to refine processes
About YouBasic Qualifications- 3-5 years of professional experience developing production-quality apps for iOS using Swift
- 3+ years experience with mobile design and architectural patterns
- Computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
Other Qualifications- Deep knowledge of Swift, Objective-C or SwiftUI
- Developed one or more apps in the App Store
- Passion for design, UI, and UX
- Test driven development skills
- Experience with Objective-C
- Android or mobile web experience
- Experience in working with agile methodology
