Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Account Manager

The Midwest Sales Specialist - East will manage relationships with approximately one dozen Manufacturer Sales Representatives for Midwest Electrical Products.

The work model for the role is: Remote #LI-remote

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Drive and ensure profitable growth by focusing on the Midwest Electrical Products' market penetration and expansion activities.
  • Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
  • Identify, monitor, and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels, after evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.
  • Interface closely with all stakeholders including Sales Managers, Reps, Commercial Operations & Strategic Customers to develop understanding of areas of opportunity and to provide executable proposals.
  • Leverage breadth and depth of Commercial Operations team by collaborating with peers.
  • Participate in the negotiation of key contracts.
  • Understand and address commercial factors such as project duration, project location and basic terms and conditions.
  • Provide guidance to the teams and seek knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams.


Qualifications for the role:
  • Minimum 10 years of market experience with contract negotiations and/or sales role in the electrical distribution industry
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution and/or electrical construction industry
  • Experience managing sales reps preferred

Compensation

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $100,500 and $160,800 annually and is bonus eligible.
