Midwest Industrial Lead, Project & Development Services

Job Description Summary
This role will lead the Industrial Services Practice Group for Project & Development Services (PDS). This position will partner with PDS Leadership to develop and implement the strategic direction of the Industrial Practice Group. They will act as the trusted business advisor for business development and operational plans for the Industrial Practice Group. Also, they will work as a liaison between other C&W Services Lines, 3rd party partners, and our clients to ensure the incorporation and communication of all aspects affecting the successful delivery of services.
Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads business development activity for Industrial Practice Group, ensuring alignment with service line strategies through identification and cultivation of internal and external client relationships.


  • Support RFP responses, presentations, etc. to sell Industrial Services for PDS.


  • Collaborate with local market, regional and account resources to develop assignment solutions, pricing models, proposals and fees. Included in this support shall be identifying prospects and forecasting potential revenues with collaboration from the market, regional and account resources.


  • Develop and maintain the PDS library of documents for Industrial Practice Group including but not limited to specialty personnel bios, project/account case studies, practice specific white papers, and marketing collateral.


  • Assist in resourcing personnel where specific markets and/or accounts lack the appropriate resources to implement projects.


  • Chair monthly practice group meetings/conference calls with internal C&W personnel designated as part of the practice group. Meetings will include discussions on key pursuits, proposals, wins, project status, industry trends, significant industry information, etc.


  • Support PDS Leadership on all operational models, risk mitigation, and strategic initiatives to grow and enhance the Industrial Practice Group for PDS.


  • Responsible for marketing the successes and abilities of the PDS Industrial Practice Group to the external client stakeholders and internal service lines.


  • Assist in the creation and implementation of standards for delivery, risk management and implementing quality assurance process to ensure risk is clearly identified and well managed.


  • Deepen client/stakeholder insight by gathering information from clients and project teams; assisting in the delivery of initiatives to deliver outstanding client service and improve client/stakeholder advocacy and use it to shape Cushman & Wakefield's PDS Standard Operating Procedures.


BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Advanced degrees, General Contractors license, Project Management Institute PMP designation and LEED certified are desirable.


  • 12+ years of Design and Construction experience in the industrial industry.


  • Knowledge and application of a disciplined Project Management process (Six Sigma desirable).


  • Demonstrated significant previous industry experience managing industrial projects varying in size and complexity including strategic planning, entitlements management, development, re-development, building renovations and interior improvements.


  • Experience in collaborating and supporting real estate transactions generally associated with industrial projects.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 148,197.50 - $174,350.00
