Full Job Description
Elsberg Baker & Maruri PLLC seeks Mid-level Associate in New York, NY to oversee case management and identify legal issues and strategies related to litigating large disputes. Requirements: JD or foreign equivalent in the job offered or related occupation and two (2) years of experience at a law firm: working on commercial and investment arbitration involving multiple claims and parties and researching and drafting legal memoranda; identifying legal issues within complex, multi-party disputes; working with expert witnesses, including assisting with the preparation of expert reports, depositions, and trial testimony; and assisting in the preparation of direct and cross-examination outlines and exhibits at trial and arbitration hearings. Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York. The offered salary is between $270,000 and $270,000 per year, 40 hours/week. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to worksite.
