Full Job Description
Middle School Math Teacher in Bridgeport, CT, and help 6th-7th grade students build confidence, strengthen their math skills, and thrive in the classroom.

Position Overview
  • Teach 6th-7th grade mathematics, delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction and developing effective lesson plans.
  • Create and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment that supports student learning and behavior expectations.
  • Assess student progress, provide appropriate feedback/interventions, and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to communicate student needs and maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, grades, and academic progress.

  • Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification in Mathematics preferred
    • Non-certified applicants must have at least 12 college credits in mathematics and provide a copy of their transcripts
