Full Job Description

Within Operations, we are expanding our Digital Inside Sales (DIS) organization to accelerate growth in the SaaS, AI and digital solutions space. Our innovative, data-driven sales model combines trusted technical expertise, cutting-edge technology, and AI-powered insights to help clients transform and scale efficiently. We’re looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused Advertising Sales Account Manager to manage a portfolio of existing customers.

The Mid-Market Advertising Sales Account Manager is responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of advertisers through strategic account planning, consultative selling, disciplined pipeline management, and high-quality execution. This role combines hands-on client engagement with broader responsibility for revenue performance, account health, and delivery excellence.

You will operate as a trusted advisor to advertisers, translating business objectives and performance data into clear growth strategies and practical recommendations. Success requires sound commercial judgement, confidence engaging senior stakeholders, strong ownership of complex work, and the ability to influence outcomes in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Strategic Account Ownership & Customer Engagement

  • Own a portfolio of advertisers and serve as the primary commercial and strategic point of contact throughout the account lifecycle
  • Develop account plans that identify growth opportunities, risks, client objectives, and clear actions to improve revenue, retention, and advertiser value
  • Build trusted relationships with client decision-makers and confidently lead consultative conversations, performance reviews, and recommendations
  • Drive proactive outreach through calls, email, and scheduled follow-ups, balancing activity expectations with the quality and complexity of each opportunity
  • Diagnose advertiser needs and recommend tailored advertising products, campaign strategies, and optimization actions aligned with business goals
  • Lead complex or sensitive account discussions, resolve issues, and coordinate the appropriate internal support to protect the client relationship
  • Identify expansion, cross-sell, and retention opportunities using performance trends, market context, and commercial insight
  • Partner with sales, product, operations, and support teams to deliver a consistent end-to-end advertiser experience

Pipeline, Forecasting & Commercial Discipline

  • Maintain a structured, accurate, and strategically prioritized pipeline within Salesforce or an equivalent CRM
  • Own revenue pacing and forecast quality for assigned accounts, identifying gaps early and developing recovery or acceleration plans
  • Apply sound judgement to prioritize opportunities, client needs, and daily activities against commercial impact
  • Meet agreed activity, conversion, revenue, retention, and service-level expectations while maintaining a high standard of customer engagement
  • Ensure clear documentation of client objectives, decision criteria, commercial opportunities, risks, commitments, and next steps
  • Use account and pipeline data to provide concise updates, surface trends, and recommend actions to leadership
  • Independently manage competing priorities and escalate material risks with clear context and proposed solutions

Quality, Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Set a strong standard for customer interactions across calls, meetings, and written communication
  • Ensure all work complies with agreed processes, turnaround times, quality controls, and data and privacy requirements
  • Translate recurring client feedback and performance trends into actionable recommendations for leadership and partner teams
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, shape practical improvements, and support implementation of more scalable ways of working
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, peer support, and knowledge sharing to less experienced team members without direct people-management responsibility
  • Support onboarding, calibration, and best-practice sharing across the team as required
  • Represent Accenture professionally and act as a credible, customer-centric advocate in all internal and external interactions

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Advertising Sales or Advertising Account Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ownership of a client portfolio, revenue target, sales pipeline, or account-growth plan
  • Proven ability to lead consultative client conversations, influence decisions, and
  • convert data into clear commercial recommendations
  • Experience managing complex client needs, competing priorities, and escalations with limited supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting to senior client and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to identify trends, assess risk, and recommend action
  • High proficiency in CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting, and accurate account documentation
  • Experience in digital advertising, media sales, SaaS, ad technology, or platform-based environments
  • Working knowledge of digital campaign performance, optimization levers, measurement, and advertising industry trends
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales engagement, reporting, or business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated experience coaching peers, supporting onboarding, or contributing to team capability development
  • Experience operating in a matrixed environment and coordinating across sales, product, operations, and support teams
  • Commercially minded, customer-centric, and focused on measurable outcomes
  • Confident operating with autonomy, ambiguity, and accountability
  • Resilient and composed when managing challenging conversations or performance pressure
  • Strategic and data-led, with the ability to move between detailed execution and broader account priorities
  • Proactive in identifying risks, opportunities, and improvements rather than waiting for direction
  • Collaborative and credible, with the judgement to influence across teams and stakeholder levels
  • Committed to continuous learning across products, tools, sales methods, and the digital advertising landscape
