Full Job Description
About the Role

Canary Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Market Account Executive to join our growing US/Canada sales team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across mid-market hotel management companies and ownership groups.

In this role, you'll build relationships with hotel groups and help them identify opportunities to use Canary's platform across their portfolios. You'll work with stakeholders across operations, finance, IT, ownership, and executive leadership to understand their priorities, demonstrate measurable business value, and build alignment around Canary's solutions.

We're looking for a commercially-minded seller who can navigate multi-property organizations, uncover opportunities across both new and existing relationships, and turn customer needs into broader partnerships. You'll combine strong discovery and relationship-building skills with disciplined deal management and the ability to consistently drive opportunities forward in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and close opportunities across new and existing mid-market hotel groups, expanding Canary's footprint across properties, products, and use cases.
  • Lead Consultative Sales: Own opportunities from discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and close, building compelling business cases around Canary's impact on hotel operations, guest experience, and revenue.
  • Navigate Group-Level Relationships: Build champions and relationships across operations, finance, IT, ownership, and executive leadership to drive alignment and expand Canary's presence across hotel portfolios.
  • Develop Your Territory: Build a deep understanding of your target accounts and proactively create pipeline across new and expansion opportunities. Partner strategically with SDR teams to identify, prioritize, and penetrate high-value accounts, while maintaining personal accountability for pipeline generation beyond opportunities generated through Canary's broader go-to-market channels.
  • Manage Your Business: Maintain strong command of your pipeline and forecast, prioritize opportunities effectively, and consistently deliver against revenue targets.
  • Become a Hospitality Technology Expert: Develop deep expertise in Canary's platform, our competitive landscape, and the evolving technology and business needs of hotel operators.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of successful B2B SaaS or technology sales experience, including experience in a closing role.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder sales processes and building relationships with senior business decision-makers.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand a customer's business and translate their priorities into compelling value.
  • Strong commercial instincts and deal management skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, build momentum, navigate objections, and drive deals toward close.
  • Experience developing and expanding relationships across multi-location or multi-business-unit organizations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience in hospitality or hospitality technology is a plus.

Compensation

Target cash compensation ranges from $180,000 - $210,000, including a fixed annual salary and uncapped commission paid monthly.

This role also includes a stock option grant, subject to board approval.

Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's skill level, experience, and specific work location.

There is no observation floor. It is a prestigious location for offices and as of October 2017 was completely let. The building is recognised as a London landmark, and it has gained much attention through film, television, and other media as one of the tallest buildings in the United Kingdom.
