The Role: Our client is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer to join our distributed engineering team. You'll work on full-stack development, building and maintaining features using .NET (C#) on the backend and React/JavaScript on the frontend. This role emphasizes review, validation, and ownership of code-including code produced with AI assistance-and collaboration with a talented distributed team.
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain features across our full-stack architecture (.NET backend, React frontend)
- Review, validate, and take ownership of code produced with AI assistance and tools
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues; contribute to incident response
- Write tests and ensure code quality; participate in peer code reviews
- Communicate clearly with the team on technical decisions and trade-offs
Requirements:Technical Foundation:- 4-6 years of full-stack development experience
- Solid understanding of C# and .NET Core fundamentals (dependency injection, middleware, async/await)
- Comfortable with React, JavaScript, and modern front-end patterns
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and version control (Git)
- Familiarity with production systems, monitoring, and debugging tools
- Required Technologies: Microsoft .NET, C#, React, JavaScript, AI-Assisted Coding Workflows (Software Engineering)
Soft Skills:- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English (English - Advanced)
- Comfortable learning and applying new tools and techniques
- Collaborative mindset; enjoy peer feedback and code reviews
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
Nice-to-Have:- Experience with Azure or cloud platforms
