Job Description:

The Mid-Level Security Professional is responsible for implementing and managing corporate security programs that safeguard employees, facilities, and assets. This role combines operational execution, risk assessment, and technology enablement to ensure a secure and compliant environment. The position supports executive protection, incident response, emergency and operational planning, and vendor oversight, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve security posture.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage day-to-day security operations, including executive protection, residential security, event and trip security and digital protection.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and operational security reviews to identify mitigation strategies
  • Lead and support operational planning, logistics and transportation planning, incident response, , and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and root cause analysis
  • Partner with Facilities, HR, Legal, and Corporate Security stakeholders to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee third-party security vendors, ensuring SLA adherence and performance standards
  • Collect and use data to write senior executive level reports, plans, decision briefs and business cases.
  • Implement and maintain security technologies and digital protection services
  • Develop and deliver security training programs for employees
  • Support business continuity and emergency response planning, including drills and tabletop exercises
  • Analyze security data and produce reports to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation
  • Ensure alignment with corporate governance, audit standards, and safety protocols

What You Will Bring:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or security operations
  • Strong knowledge of industry security standards, and security technologies
  • Experience conducting complex security operations, incident response, and report writing
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  • Vendor management and contract security oversight experience
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency with security systems software, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and corporate policies
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and situational awareness

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Professional certifications such as CPP (ASIS), PSP, or similar
  • Experience in enterprise or Fortune 500 environments
  • Knowledge of business continuity planning and crisis management frameworks
  • Familiarity with security risk frameworks and audit processes
  • Experience supporting multi-site or regional security operations
  • Strong data analytics and reporting capabilities

  • The primary location for this role is Irving, Texas
  • Domestic relocation assistance is not available for those who qualify

  • 15 to 25% travel is expected


 

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
