Position Title: Phoenix Office Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate

This role is essential for a legal professional seeking to advance their career in employment law. The position involves engaging with complex litigation matters while providing support to clients in various employment-related issues. The associate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values individual contributions and fosters professional development. Candidates will face challenges that require strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to case management.

Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings
  • Draft and argue motions
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with partners on various cases
  • Engage in pro-bono work as part of billable hour requirements

Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience
  • Barred in state
  • Strong litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in employment law will be considered
  • Comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
  • Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in employment and/or restrictive covenants/trade secrets law is preferred
