Here, engineering isn't theoretical - it's built. You'll design systems that must perform in the real world, collaborate directly with construction teams who bring your work to life, and solve complex challenges that demand both technical depth and practical, field-ready thinking. If you want to engineer solutions that move communities forward and see your designs become tangible, high-impact facilities, Kiewit is where you can do it.
We are adding strong electrical engineers with power and industrial design experience with 5+ years to support a broad scope of projects within our Industrial sector. • Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to design medium to large industrial projects.
• Formulate technical specifications and prepare interface points with construction partners. Schedule, review, and coordinate design efforts with other project personnel, performing bid evaluations of equipment and construction proposals and developing recommendations for contract award.
• Review electrical requirements for new facilities and project plans, performing calcuations of loads for equipment, voltage levels, designing the overall one line diagram which includes selection and sizing of equipment. Will be expected to support the development of detailed design documents, cable schedules, conduit routing, lighting, grounding and bonding plants.
