The RoleSpecific Job Description:
Position is to lead Receipt Inspection team. Oversee hourly and contract inspectors at multiple locations, within Newport News Shipbuilding and outside locations. Knowledge of general material inspection requirements, and ability to read and interpret drawing and specifications are desirable.

Supervises employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications.
Must HaveApprentice graduate, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 6 years of applicable technical experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor Test Inspection 1 or equivalent positon plus a minimum of 8 years related non-exempt experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree and experience.
